Registry complaints...
Seriously what is wrong with BBB and BRU. How hard is it to keep track of a registry.
I got 3 umbrella strollers, 2 tubs, 2 5 piece basket sets, 7 sets of sheets (registered for 2 because I bought 2) and tons of other duplicates.
I also registered in the store for changing pad liners that were white and they gave my guests blue. Having a girl.
Honestly I don't even care about having to go make returns. What upsets me is my guests were upset when I opened duplicates. Especially those who gave big gifts like the strollers.
Also BRU does the 10% points thing but so many of my gifts came off my registry but are not on my rewards list, including my big stroller and swing, which are both big ticket items.
Very aggravated by both stores.

I'd call and complain. Did all guests buy from bru? I had some ppl buy the same item somewhere else bc it was cheaper elsewhere so I got doubles.

Babies R Us did the same thing on my registry. I got duplicates and people were upset when I opened them. I went and told them and the woman was like "Oh that's too bad". I wanted to smack her lol

It sounds like your guests didn't tell the stores to take it off your registry. They have to scan the registry code when they are paying and it comes off. It's likely not the fault of the stores.

Yep: you have to be proactive about scanning item when you buy it in the store: easier online.
Good news is, you can return items easily.

My guests were telling me that the Massapequa BRU was saying they couldn't scan some of the items off my registry because I registered for them online. (But I know that some of these items I didn't register for online). Multiple guests said this. One of my guests left there and went to the Bohemia store and they had no problem removing it, hence I only got one swing. But I still didn't get my 10% for it.

BRU is horrible with registry items. Trust me, it is not the guests--it is BRU. I ordered tons of stuff from there w/ gc's and almost every item is always wrong either by size, color etc.. Hate them! Many of my friends had awful experiences buying off my registry too.
