Registry Question

How many items total do you have on your registry. We have over 150 and it feels like SOOOO much, maybe even TOO much. But DH says we didn't register for anything crazy or out of the blue.
Just want to check and see what the general number is.

Re: Registry Question

We had 100 and received about 36 or so items from the registry at the shower (mostly the big stuff...thank God). I am keeping my registry because people who could not make the shower are still sending us stuff and after the baby is here people sometimes will give you things off your registry as well.

Also, it serves as a great database to see what DH & I need to purchase ourselves. It is so hard to remember everything that you need.

Re: Registry Question

I think I have a total of 24 things! I guess I need to put more stuff on. I made a rule for myself that I would not register for anythign that the baby does not need in the first 9mos to a year of her life. I just don't have the storage space for it.

Re: Registry Question

I had a lot - I think 110 at BRU
And quite honestly - we had a registry at BBB as well. Not as much.

We had a lot of small things on there too.
For example, we had all of the safety things for outlets and the kitchen and the bathroom.

Re: Registry Question

I have 143 at BRU and another 29 at BBB. I know we won't get everything, but this way everything we need/want is on there and it'll be easier for us to shop afterwards. Plus it gives everyone PLENTY of options Chat Icon

Re: Registry Question

Can I ask those of you with 100+ thigns on your registry what you have on there? I mean, besides the big things? I feel like there's nothing else we'll need besides what we have on there. The only thing I need to add is my monitor, and that's it. Did you all register for clothes and blankets and stuff? I didn't put that stuff on my registry because I figured people will buy it anyway. Now I'm all confused again!

Re: Registry Question

I did put some clothes on my registry. I also put 2 sets of bedding, toys, bath toys, sheets, blankets, etc. I also out things that I know that the baby is going to be using eventually like sippy cups, bowls, spoons, etc.

blankets
sheets
bibbs
pacifiers
ect
I put EVERYTHING we would need on there.
Like someone else posted above, I don't expect to get everything (I am happy even if I get one thing) but at the end it will be easier for us to shop and not have to figure out what we got v. what we didn't get.

I registered for crib sheets, bassinet sheets, sheets for the pack and play, a few clothing items (people will get that stuff for you), no scratch mittens, socks, bottles, breast pump, booster seat, potty seat, bowls, spoons, extra boppy covers, pacifier holders, hooded bath towels, bibs, washcloths, and refills for the diaper genie. Basically, there were a ton of misc. things we put on there. We wanted to give people a bunch of options based on price, and what we needed.

Re: Registry Question

I had:
crib bedding and accessories
extra sheets
bassinet sheets
boppy pillow
bottles
onesies
diaper bag
pack and play sheets
gym
couple of baby toys
healthcare stuff

Just think because you had it on there doesn't mean you will get it - that is what we are using our gift cards for. And also for example, I didn't get any pacifiers, and small stuff that I didn't have on there.
I was told by numerous people put everything on there. So I did. Chat Icon

Re: Registry Question

I think I have about 120 things. I put basically everything except clothes. All the big stuff, room decor, bottles, etc. Even if I don't get the majority, it was a nice way to figure out what I need and want and I feel I chose with care.

Re: Registry Question

I feel like I don't have enough. I have a total of 60 items, and some have been coming off. I don't want to add any more because there's nothing else I want/need.

Re: Registry Question

I think I have around 50-60 items. I tried to focus on the stuff I would really like to receive, rather than every little thing I could buy myself...(though there's some of that on there too Chat Icon )

Re: Registry Question

When I first registered, I put onsies, pjs, bibs all that stuff on there. Then later on I deleted all those things and left the big items, monitor, bathtub, blankets and sheets. I didn't feel it was necessary to register for onsies, bibs, burp cloths etc. I wound up get a ton of that stuff anyway. People are most likely going to buy that stuff anyway.
