registry question for all the mommies
I'm 21 weeks pg and everybody is asking when I am going to register. I know the basics but out of curiousity, what are some things that you can't live without for baby that you registered for. TIA

I honestly registered for everything and anything. I got almost everything
Easier for me things I can live without:
Bottle Warmer
Wipe Warmer
Scratch Mittens
Sleep Sak
Baby Wrap Thing

also... you can register for diapers, wipes, lotion, etc (you'll NEED all of that anyway)

I agree with this. I also could live without the swing, but most people disagree. Hardly ever used the bouncy, but I used the FP Infant to Toddler rocker, which he STILL uses. Every baby is different, so you will get very different answers.

Oh and onesies...my DS was born in June last year so I had a summer baby. And they are great. He's still in them...I love them.
Things I got but discovered I didn't need them:
*Bottle Warmer
*Pajama Sleepers (he's always in onesies)
*Travel Swing (he never cared to be in that thing and we were not going to register for the big ones cuz we had no room for it)
* Swaddle me blankets (DS hated being swaddled. In the hospital fine but once we got home he started swinging his arms until he was free)

Everyone has already listed very good advice. I would just add gowns. My DD practically lived in them when she was born. It made changing her a snap.

These are the things I love -
Summer video monitor
The sheet that snaps over mattress so you don't have to take the crib apart to change the sheet (they have it at BRU for about $17.
Pack-n-play - we used it as a bassinet too.
Lots of bibs.
Tiny Love mobile.
