Regular People Maxi Dress
I'm not due until Sept and I was wondering should I buy a maternity maxi dress or can I buy a regular person maxi dress. I have a coupon to Old navy and I'm not so hot about their maternity dresses.

Re: Regular People Maxi Dress
I think it depends on the cut of the regular maxi dress. I have two or three from last summer that I've tried to wear recently (due 4/30) and they look aweful... not because they didn't fit but because all of them cut my body in the wrong spot. Maybe head to the store rather than purchase online.

Re: Regular People Maxi Dress
Old Navy had REALLY cute maternity dresses and sold out of them! I only got a black one and I was so mad! I wanted the stripe one they had... They have a few others that are cute though too... And their fit is FANTASTIC! They have amazing maternity clothes!
You can def wear regular maxi dresses just go a size up. My friend got hers at H & M and they were super cheap and adorable... When things are cut roomy such as empire waist dresses, you can def get away with regular cuts in a bigger size...

I wore 'regular' maxi dresses all through my pregnancy last summer - depending on how much bigger you are, just try on your regular size or one up and you should be fine

Re: Regular People Maxi Dress
I'm 29 weeks and I've been wearing my maxi's from last summer, theybstill fit well. The key to wearing a regular maxi dress instead of a maternity one is to make sure it has an empire waist. I just bought a great maxi from forever 21 with an empire waist for only $17!
