Related to my sono post - Girls that go to Three Village Womens Health
Do they do the anatomy scan on site or do you go elsewhere for that?
I called them to schedule an appointment but the receptionist will not schedule an anatomy scan for me.. just a 20 week appointment. Not sure what to do

Of course I have an appointment at the patchogue office.
I called back today and the receptionist refuses to schedule one. She keeps saying "if your doc thinks you need a sono they will send you for one" - but I am trying to tell her that I am due at that time for the 20 week anatomy scan  I am sorry I am whiney today I just have zero time to take off of work to go to yet another appointment

They did it at the Setauket office.
I had to wait till my the dr ordered it. He wrote it down on that paper you give the nurse when they call you in.

Never been there before. I want to switch dr's. I told the recpetionist I was scheduled at my current place for an anatomy scan but she keeps insisting that she doesnt need to schedule me for one here.

I think they should be able to. When I had to go for my growth sono I was told they were pretty booked. I had to wait 2 days instead of the next day. Which to me was pretty fast for being booked.
I think they do the anatomy scan till 22 weeks so if they order it at your 20w then you should have time to schedule a sono apt.

So frustrating! Can't the nurse speak to your doctor then schedule it for you? It seems to me that they are not very helpful at your doctor's office at all!

If not maybe make the 20w apt with the OB at 3village and explain to the ob that you didn't get a level II and hopefully they can schedule you in for one.

The receptionist and the service was part of the reason I switched practices, that and my insurance was no longer dealing with SB. I hated how the receptionist always seemed to be inconvenienced, and you had to leave a message and call you back. Drove me insane, I don't miss that at all. I'd call back tomorrow and see if you get someone else on the line.

yeah I am going to go to my current place and switch after the 20 week and anatomy scan. I dont think its worth the headache to try and do it differently at this point.
