Relly? Does body lotion, interfere with sonogram?

So level II today was fine, but the tech said something to the effect that the body lotion (cocoa butter based) I used 2 days ago on my belly was interfering with the sono pictures and giving grainy images.

Anyone ever heard of anything like this?

So she couldn't get great pictures of the heart, I might have to go back if OB thinks I need it. But otherwise everything was perfect.

i've never heard that... but i feel like it kind of could make sense.

i know for me, the cocoa butter stays on there forever! it feels weird and sticky and i have to loofah it off in the shower....
