Remember the $63.99 Baby Universe Swing Debacle??
Well I pursued it.....filed a claim with the Better business bureau .
Got a response from the BBB today that they spoke to Baby Universe and they are upholding the offer!
They expect to have more swings within a few weeks and it will be sent for $63.99 with FREE shipping!
I did get the swing for my shower, but I can return that one.
Anyone who got Duped...FILE with BBB if you still want the swing!

and not Buy Buy Baby.

i actually got an email from Baby Universe a few weeks back saying they had gotten my letter and would be upholding their price with the free shipping as promised.
They said they'd be back in touch as soon as they got more stock of the swing.
It helps to be a pain in the butt!

when did you file? It took a few weeks till I heard from BBB and then heard from baby universe the same day the BBB complaint was addressed.

The swing is $139.99 at BRU and all the other stores.
Baby universe had it listed on their site for $63.99 with free shipping...so a TON of pepole bought them. Thats half price.
Then Baby universe said they made a mistake, gave people refunds and said they couldnt honor that price since it was a mistake...even after charging people and we all had written confirmation of the price.
So people filed complaint with the BBB and they seem to upholding the price of $63.99 now......

I got my swing today. I told them that I was going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I got a email last week that my swing would be shipped. They also called and left a message. I'm glad it worked out in the end.
