remind me to never bring old class pictures of myself into school to show my students
by old class pics I mean the pics where I'm the teacher. These pics are from about 5-9 years ago.
"Woah!!! You were skinny???"
"NO WAY IS THAT YOU!!"
"You were pretty when you were young!"

They just don't understand with their crazy metabolism.
I saw some skinny little 16 year old the other day with her booty hanging out of her shorts and eating ice cream. I wanted to slap the ice cream out of her hand and say "I can't wait until your older and you can't eat that without paying for it! Mark my words, it's going to happen!!!"

That happened to me. I once showed students my wedding picture and one of them said "Wow! Ms. M you used to be so pretty. What happened????"
I told them Life Happened.

Mine too...its on my desk at work and all I hear is "that was you??" and I say yes thats my motivation pic.
