Removing a wall mirror
Does anyone have any experiance removing a mirror that is attached to a wall?
We have a huge mirror in our bathroom that we are going to take down. It is attached by the corners with screws and Im assuming the rest of it with glue.
Do we try and take it down in one piece or break it??

Re: Removing a wall mirror
I think there os something on HGTV.com or DIY.com about this, but if its glued you'll have to break it. I think the trick it to use masking tape all over it to keep it from breaking into little shards of glass. Wear safety glasses & gloves & gently use a hammer, careful not to blow right through the wall. The sheetroock will probably need to be repaired underneath.

yep, Kelly's right, I saw designed to sell last weekend and they removed a mirror in a living room and did the tape technique.
