Remsenburg-Speonk
While researching Manorville, I came across some houses in Remsenburg-Speonk. Can anyone give me some feedback on this area? Neighborhood, nearby shopping, school district? It seems many extremely expensive houses and some more affordable and very low taxes. Is there a reason they are so low? TIA!

Great area! Great school system! It's Southampton town right? Taxes in Southampton are cheaper than Manorville.

Manorville is Brookhaven and Remsenburg/Speonk is southampton. Great area and great schools. Different way of life though. Visit the area see if you can deal with the peace and quiet  I wish we could have found a house in our price range. I would have moved there in a second!

LOL yes I go back and forth with this. I love it being less congested and quiet but I also love having everything within a 5 min. drive here in Massapequa!

We live in Hampton Bays, it is nothing like Massapequa. I came from Baltimore, so it is a huge change for me. I love it now though, and Amazon is my bff, lol.

Remsenburg-Speonk
I used to live in westhampton which is right around there. It's a gorgeous area. I'd go back in a heartbeat. You have a small shopping center with a king kullen and a rite aid in Eastport, and a waldbaums in westhampton. If you need to do any major shopping (target, walmart etc) you're best bet is riverhead (15-20 min ride) you an get peapod there though lol!!
