Renovating a bathroom if you only have one bathroom?
This is my bathroom. I like the bathroom but we wanted to put in a real tile floor (it is vinyl tile) and change the tile on the walls (It's not real tile it's like tile paneling that they painted white)
Is it even possible though to do that when you have only one bathroom or are we kind of stuck?

You really can't step on floor tile for several hours or more while it dries. And the wall tiles need the toilet removed so you can get behind it. You'd only be without a bathroom for a good part of one day/overnight, but that's a long time to hold it.... 
If you can find a way to have a temporary toilet, it's definitely doable.

We only have one bathroom in our house too... and we've talked about doing our bathroom over and how that would be possible. We said we would either get a hotel room for me and the kids while DH and his friend worked on the bathroom, or the kids and I would go stay at one of our family member's houses for the weekend.
If you have super friendly neighbors that you're close to, maybe they'll let you use their bathroom?? I don't know... that may be weird. lol

We only have one bathroom and we completely gutted ours. A friend did the work, but he put the toilet back on each night before he left, and we would brush our teeth in the kitchen and shower at our parents' houses in the evenings (they live just a few miles away).
There was only one night he couldn't put the toilet back on - the day they did the mud to level the floors - and we stayed at my in-laws' house that night.
It was annoying, but worth it in the end!

My parents just did this. They borrowed our camper and used the bathroom in there.

We will be doing this; however, we have a second half bath. So all we need is a shower... we will use the showers at the gym each day until the bathroom is done.
