rental hall in babylon area?
We were going to have DD's christening party at home but our invite list is so big that we dont know if we can fit that many people in our yard! Do you know of any place in babylon area that you can rent out that doesn't charge per head??

There's a huge Sons of Italy hall on Deer Park Ave. I spoke to them about catering 2 years ago, but they may do just hall rentals.

There is an American Legion hall in Lindenhurst, I remember we used it for something when I was younger...

We had our engagement party at the Hibernian Hall in Babylon (around the corner from the train station) and it was great. It's nice and it's big (they'll subdivide the room if you need it). My friends liked it so much that I have since been back to 2 more parties that were there (one held her engagement party there & another their daughters 1st birthday party). We used the house caterer (Emerald Caterers) and their bartending staff - both of which were fantastic. I'd definitely recommend checking them out - they're very reasonable. Good luck!

That's my hall! I am the past lady president and know all about it, but jam11308 has covered pretty much everything. We just finished a big renovation (my DH painted the bar in his spare time) and it looks really great! You can tell Billy at Emerald Caterers that I recommended him too - he's a good friend.
