Renting a bag?

would anyone actually rent a handbag?

maybe a special occasion bag, but I don't know if I'd pay $205 a month to "borrow" it! Chat Icon

Re: Renting a bag?

This comes up about once or twice a year. If I recall correctly, the overwhelming consensus was NO! At those "rental" prices you might as well save up a few more months and buy the whole thing.

I guess it's ok if you want to "test drive" bags to see if you like how the function (ease to use, weight, etc.) before actually buying them.

Otherwise, why not buy a "pre-loved" (aka pre-owned) bag? Just got to know what you're buying (whether it's authentic). Sometimes you can get a bag that's been used a handful of times and looks brand spankin' new for a fraction of the retail price (the only handbags that really appreciate are Hermes.)
