Repost - do you remember getting a sono at 31-32 weeks
I am trying to decide if I want to spend the time to get it done or cancel the appt and meet up for a play date instead. Are the sono pics any good or is the baby too big at this point? It's not 4d...it's just a regular b&w sono. Thanks!

I did but it was only b/c there were issues going on....I dont know if the generally do sonos at that appointment...

I had my last sono at 38 weeks for the baby's weight and we were able to get a cute face shot.

I had one only because they needed to check that the placenta moved up and away from the cervix.
While they were doing it, the tech switched to 4D view for fun. We got a great pic of DD's face.
I wouldn't do it just for fun if it's one of those grainy b/w pics.

I had one at 34 weeks for a growth sono. The one prior to it was for the level II.

I had several sonos during the last trimester. I think 31 weeks was the last "good" one. All the others, the photos came out too difficult to see. I think it depends on the sono machine though - if its a good machine, then it should be fine.

I went to my 32 week sono. I think it is good to go to check on and wee the baby. We actually were able to get 3D pics because the ultrasound machine I was on had them. I actually would go even if I didn't get 3D pics. I am actually not fond of the 3D pics.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I went on Friday and actually got awesome 4D shots - and he looks just like DH and my DD! Amazing!
