Repost - Ob/Gyn dilema...

I just found out my Ob/GYN is relocating to Georgia. I've been going to her for 10 years. She is part of a group practice based in Smithtown & Stonybrook and associated with St. Catherine's.

DH & I are going to start TTC at the start of 2008.

I live in the babylon area since I got married & I chose to drive to the north shore since my Ob/Gyn was located there. Do I stay with the practice since they have my records and go with another female doctor? It is about a 20-25 minute drive.

Or can you recommend a personable & excellent female doctor on the south shore that is associated with Good Sam Hospital?

Who were you seeing? I see Dr. Weiss at the group in Stony Brook on 347 and in the building next to St. catherine's.

Just switched to a practice that has one female doctor & three males. The female is young & is supposed to be excellent. I have only seen one of the males so far, but I hear they are all very good & the practice comes very highly recommended. Affiliated w/ Good Sam & located in West Islip. Vullo, Ketchum, Sampino & Scquicciarini (the female).

Bummer, Dr.Weiss is very nice... I go to that office also, but the other doctors in the office are very good also IMO.
If seen Dr. Stampf and Dr. Gentilesco.

I have been going to SouthBay OB/GYN for years. They are right on Montauk Highway just east of 231.
