repost: Bayside ladies
We just moved to our new co-op in Bayside and I'm walking distance to the LIRR, but i was curious about the buses in Bayside... can anyone share any info?

I don't know about the bus
but I would love a good dry cleaner recommendation - the one in my building is so expensive

There is a good one in Bay Terrace Shopping center right near the post office on 26th ave.

I lived in Bayside for 4 yrs, within walking distance to the LIRR and never took the bus. I remember some ladies would take the bus to the train, but some days it would run late (traffic, lights, etc). Never thought about taking it into the city though.
I just checked my old check registry and my favorite little cleaners was Weber's. It is on the east side of Bell Blvd. The other one I would go to all the time was Bay Breeze Cleaners. They are on the west side of Bell Blvd down by the florist. It is in its own little bldg with the florist and has parking, which made it convenient.
