Repost from diet & fitness--What gyms does everyone belong to?
I'm looking for a recommendation, I live in Sayville...and I'm not really into classes as much as the treadmills, and the weight machines....
any suggestions??

Eastern Athletic Clubs in Bayport is very nice. Not far from Sayville at all.

I think it's called Patchogue Fitness.
I wish I could still go there, but I live in Brooklyn now.
They have individual TV's on each of their machines so you can put your headphones in and watch TV. And they have a ton of machines as well as a whole circuit training section.
I miss it so much.
Very well priced also.
They're on Montauk Hwy in Patchogue where Swezy's used to be.

Although it's probably too far for you, I go to All 4 Sports and Fitness in West Islip......Huge amounts of machines, clean gym, friendly staff....

i belong to Ballys, but have never actually gone there. not even to join- i did it by mail. i have no clue what it looks like inside. Pathetic.

LA Fitness in Lake Success but I think there is one in Suffolk. Mine just expanded and I Love it. They have soooo many machines and they are open 24 hours

I miss LA fitness, I'm at Ballys in Lake Grove. I can't wait till my membership is over. Only 2 more years to go
