Re: REPOST FROM FAMILIES.....
Does your keyboard not have the "lower case" option?
Regarding Friendly's. You can give it a shot, but, IMO, you should have called that same night or the morning after. Is it possible that it was the stomach flu that's going around?

Re: REPOST FROM FAMILIES.....
I was gonna say maybe it was the somach flu... I think (I could be wrong here) Food poisoning kicks in RIGHT AWAY like if you were still there

I had it once (had to get a shot in my butt by a really cute intern when I was like 15 ) and it actually was what I ate for lunch but it took until the middle of the night to occur.
Either way, though, unless you brought him to the hospital and they confirmed that a) it was food poisoning and b) whatever he ate at friendly's was the cause of it, it's pretty unlikely they're going to take responsibility for this. I'd just let it go and not eat there anymore.

Re: REPOST FROM FAMILIES.....
sorry this happen to you! but i too recently had food poisioning from the one in m.i. and the manager tried giving me the run around about it saying all the food is prepackaged(which it is, i worked at one when i was younger) i said yes i know it is but that does not mean it was not left out or expired food. then she went on to say well you where one of like 10 people who had and the only one calling to say they got sick... yes again i agreed with her but i did also remind her that there was also a stomage virus going around and some people might thing that is what they got. needless to say i was hunched over for 4 days in pain(v&d lasted one day) but 3 days of horrific pain. you will need to call district office and speak to the district manager. i really hope the little one feels better! and as for the cap thing try to use it less it does make it hard to read for some. maybe just words that really need to be capped!

some can depending on what caused the reaction... i had it like i said in an post up above and when kryssy was about 5 we left the frendly's in coram and was litterally fine all day and right through diner, stopped at my old nursing home to pick up my check about 15 min later and she got very very very sick, i ran her to the hospital and yes they did conferm it being food posioning....

I just called there and she said that the food is prepackaged, frozen, if you wil.... So I don't know what's going to happen. She said she was going to have the higher up manager call me back.......l

Re: REPOST FROM FAMILIES.....
I wouldn't count on getting anything. I just got food poisoning on my honeymoon while staying at the Four Seasons resort. I got it at their restaurant and they had Four Seasons doctors called in to come and treat me. They still billed us for all the pain meds, antibotics and all the gatoraid the doctor requested for me. And to boot, I was too sick to fly home, as per doctors orders, and we had to pay the additional fees to stay another day and change our airfare. I got nada, but a whole lotta shots in my butt. I would be surprised if you got more then a coupon for a free fribble.

to be honest with you I don't ....BUT I do know that my son was fine all day long , ate a bagel in the mid - morning , and then about an hour after we left there he said that his stomach was huting him an dthen started vomited violently .... all night long... was ok the next day , just worn out...
IMO... He had the stomach bug a few weeks ago and it lasted 3 days...... who knows maybe I'm wrong , but I honestly think that it was food poisoning.

No, food poisoning takes 2-24 hours to kick in...sometimes sooner, sometimes later.
