I've had similar probs with FedEx and UPS. I eventually just went and picked it up. It was a pain but less annoying than waiting for it to arrive. Do you have a location close by that they could keep it at for you and you could just go get it? Might be easier since they're obviously not competant enough to deliver it.

we might have to do it (still waiting for our car though, it is being fixed after some loser slammed into it  )... the thing is, what if they lost it cause it just seems totally fishy... all day today it just says at local facility, they are not even trying to do anything about it anymore...

I would also call to make sure they have the correct address. That happened to me once, and they had the wrong building or suite number of my office. But did they bother to call to check??? NOOOOO.
But I have also had it where they said they tried to deliver and I was home all day. That was usually UPS, who I hate with a passion.

address is correct, I called 5 times already to make sure... I am starting to question myself if I was at home
