Repost from Parenting: Spanx Users- Question?
What do I buy to wear under a dress? Do the power panties help keep the tummy in or do I need the body suit. Thanks

Re: Repost from Parenting: Spanx Users- Question?
Last time I wore a dress, I did the whole get-up. Mine was more a body suit than just undies. I needed it all to be sucked in and I wanted it to look smooth

Re: Repost from Parenting: Spanx Users- Question?
I like the power panties, but honestly, post pregnancy, I recommend the higher power. They go up to your bra strap and hold in all that "extra" most of us still have at the top of our belly. (at least I do). Also, they go down your thigh (like bicycle shorts), so they slim out your thighs as well.
I am like the Spanx queen. I have every single kind.

Re: Repost from Parenting: Spanx Users- Question?
Thanks ladies- I am going to a wedding tomorrow and although the dress is sort of empire style, I don't want any bulges or tummy stick out.

They say that they don't recommend it under clingy fabrics- can you see it? the top part of my dress is against my body, right under the bra.

I wear it with clingy things. It's fine.
I love me Spanx!

I like the gut suckers you can buy at Macy's better than Spanx. I think they are made my Miracle Suit - the same brand with the "take 10 lbs off" swim suits.
My junk needs more than Spanx!

Thanks so much! Decision made! I didn't want to spend a lot of time in the store deciding. DD is NOT a shopper

I use the higher power ones, they cover the oh so lovely muffin top. They are the best.

I see what you mean...you need something satiny or something. The power panties are good, but they are not very high.
I also like this one, it attaches to your bra, but unlike the Higher Power, it is more silky so the dress won't cling. Also, it is a little thicker so it may get a little hot. But who cares, as long as you look good, right. LOL.
