Repost from TTC board re: PATHOLOGY RESULTS
Basically the chromosomal results were not in and my doctor seems to think they were reading too much into the initial testing of the "tissue" but that the placenta seemed to be sort of swollen or something. This could be something that could not completely have gone away and cause tumors so they give you some sort of very mild "chemtherapy" to basically clear you out. He said he doesn't think this is the problem and it isnt a big deal but it FREAKED me out. Has anyone heard about this????? I have about 1-2 more weeks until all results come in. I cannot deal with this waiting business...
ETA: It is a long time...right?!?!??!
I went for my 12 week visit on Oct 31when we realized the baby had died at 9w3d. At 7w1d we sawa strong little heartbeat and everything so that is why we weren't thinking "molar". Who knows, all I know is all this waiting is torture. I just want to be pregnant again.

Re: Repost from TTC board re: PATHOLOGY RESULTS
ETA - SORRY MY BRAIN IS NOT ALL THERE - i just read your post on TTC. it sounds like what happend to me and i had a partial molar. i totally freaked out b/c i was not expecting those results. i just had to go for blood work for 6 months and make sure my number stayed at 0. if the numbers dont go down or if they go up higher then they would do the chemo. FM if u have any questions - i did lots of research on this...
