Re: Repost from TTC: CD3 Bloodwork
Thanks Kara!!
My doctor just left a message that everything was normal and he'll talk to me again when I'm pregnant.
I wish I was hopeful as him....

Re: Repost from TTC: CD3 Bloodwork
I had a physical in December and my TSH level was 1.15 and now its over 3.
Does anyone know if its normal to increase that much over 2 months?
I quit smoking the beginning of November (not sure what effect that has)

Re: Repost from TTC: CD3 Bloodwork
your TSH can shift that much yes. Your Dr should be watching it though. My RE states anything over 2.5 is considered "high" for TTC. If you werent TTC, they wouldnt be concerned with that number at all.
You should ask them to check it again in a months time.

I spoke to my ob/gyn on Sunday about my current level and he insists that it's totally fine. I mentioned that I read it should be closer to 2.5 while TTC and he said it all depends on the lab, and according to his I'm fine. I'm not sure how I feel about his reply, but he is supposedly one of the top ob/gyn's in Westchester.
I have a follow up appt in May if I still haven't conceived by then.

I would just keep an eye on it. The issue might be if they put you even on a low dose of say snythroid, it could lower it too much ya know?
I think its good your staying on top of things and letting yoru drs know that will help.
