Repost: Gym at lunchtime
Does anyone go to the gym on their lunch hour. Trying to figure out if its really possible?

I can't imagine getting all sweaty and then having to go back to work. I would feel so gross.

I do sometimes, but only when my boss is out. Then I can be out of the office for an hour and a half and I can shower after i work out. Sometimes it's so nice to be able to go straight home after work!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure it would be possible, but you might feel pretty nasty for the remainder of your shift.

we have a gym at work and it is used a lot at lunch time. I have noticed though that people who use it during lunch take way more than an hour for lunch since they shower.

Some people at my job do that - I personally could not. I would have to shower, scrub my face, re put on all my face lotion, body lotion, perfume, etc. Not to mention do you put makeup on again and what about your hair?

I'm the same as the other ladies. I've contemplated doing this but would not shower at the gym (nobody really does that at Lucille Roberts and it's GROSS) and I would feel ghetto for the rest of the day.

I walk on the treadmill (not really much of a sweat). I wipe off with baby wipes. No one comes near me so its ok!  On the days I have a real workout - elliptical, or run, then I do shower and just don't wash my hair.

I agree. Sometimes I will go for a walk at lunch, but not in the summer.
