Re: RE's: Dr David Rosenfeld or Dr Steven Palter
Hi, I see Dr. Rosenfeld at NSUH. I find him to be honest, down to Earth and very knowledgeable. He has also been very open to hearing me, my concerns and letting me dictate the course of action to take ay my own pace. Just know that if you go to him and decide to do IVF you have to switch docs. He is the head of the program but does not do IVF procedures himself. Bonus, you always see a doctor at NSUH and can get appts easily. Good luck to you

Thank you so much. Its nice to hear that he really listens to your concerns and is so knowledgeable. I don't seem to have a problem getting pregnant, its keeping the pregnancy that has become my problem. I hopefully will not need IVF, but its good to know just incase.

Re: RE's: Dr David Rosenfeld or Dr Steven Palter
I would really reccomend Dr. Braverman as well, I went to Dr Palter for surgery for a complication from my 2nd D&C and he was wonderful for that but as far as recurrent loss i found his only answer was it is your eggs. I am 31 and was not ready to jump to IVF with PGD when we were getting pregnant on our own just because he did not believe in any of the other stuff.
I had testing with Braverman for both clotting issues and immune issues which I am now being treated for both and was able to get pregnant on our own.
Regardless of who you see I would ask for the reccurent loss panel of tests..best of luck!

Dr Palter came HIGHLY recommended by my OB, but I am in the middle of Suffolk, so I went elsewhere. But if I lived anywhere near Syosset, I would have used him in a heartbeat.

I see Dr. Cohen in Dr Rosenfeld's practice. Dr Rosenfeld did my HSG and monitoring for 1 week while Dr Cohen was away on vaca and I found him to be great. Very personable and told it like it is. Any of the doctors at NSUH are good to deal with.

hi... I actually see Dr. Rosenfeld and think he's fantastic (so patient and calming). I have a clomid check next week with Dr Cohen because Rosenfeld is out - not sure what to expect with Cohen.. cool?

I saw Dr. Cohen for a follie check and an IUI. He was also very nice, on the quiet side but friendly and gentle!! My only issues at that office have been with one irritable receptionist and an impatient nurse!! Every one else has been great! I even had to speak with Dr. Lee (I think is her name) once and she was super nice about my silly question late on a Friday night!!

I go to NSUH and at first I saw Dr. Rosenfeld... We just switched to Dr. Cohen in the same practice. I have found the dr.'s in that practice to be very knowledgeable! So far I have been happy there. GL!
