Resealing windows
OUr windows have a few craks where small drafts are coming through. I used to help my dad seal them up at our house, so I am confident I can do it my self. Just about 4 or 5 areas on 6 windows
What should I use? My husband picked up window sealant at HD last week, but it has silicone in it and has to be used in a well ventilated area. Is there something they sell that I can use while NOT opening the windows that will not smell the house up?
TIA!!

Re: Resealing windows
Thats interesting because if its just normal silicone that you get in a tube... I have used this before and it didn't smell too bad.
Maybe open a few windows that aren't currently being sealed for some ventilation?

Re: Resealing windows
Can you seal the windows from the outside instead if youre worried about the fumes? we just did this, we sealed all around the windows from the outside.

Re: Resealing windows
If you do it from the inside, the smell lasts about 3 minutes and goes away. My brother in law just did all of our windows... Scott
