Restaurant for 50 people ??

I'm having Ava's Baptism at St. Matthews in Dix Hills. We'd have about 50 people - any suggestions for locations? Looking in the Dix Hills, Commack, Deer Park, Hauppauge, East Northport area. We live in Babylon, so that would work too.

I'm not sure, but i'm looking for a place too! i dont know what kind of a budget you're on, but for us that's what's causing the problem. you could try captain bill's (bay shore). they are great and i jsut called ...it's $30 pp. Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip is $31 pp. I haven't called anywhere else. We're looking for some place for DD's 1st bday.

Piccola Bussola in Huntington. My cousin had his Confirmaton party there & I had DD's Christening at the Mineola location.

We just had DS's at an upstairs room in The Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown(I think it holds max 65p). They did a fantastic job and it was so reasonable!

We've had several parties at Papa Joe's in Deer Park. Very reasonable and excellent food!

I've also heard good things about Ludlow Bistro in Deer Park and the Babylon Carriage House. Never had/been to a party at either place, but have had dinner at both and the food was excellent!

Try La Scala. It's in the shopping center across the street from The Bonwit. They have a really nice back room and the people that work there are great to deal with. The food is VERY good also. Very reasonably priced too.
