Any suggestions?
Has anyone been to the Argyle Grill? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

The Argyle is nice. I would also check out the carriage house.

Re: Restaurant for a Christening party in Babylon
I did alot of searching for a babylon christening location.
Argyle is great, only problem is they end their parties at like 4pm on Sundays. So we weren't able to go there. Our christening was at 1:30.
Mulberry Street has the seperate dining area, but they also cut their parties at 4pm. Great food! They were $20 per head.
Babylon Carriage house has a seperate room, so they can accomodate a christening for any time frame. But they are $$ IMO. They started at $32 per head before alcohol or anything.
Horace & Sylvia's is a good restaurant too.
AOH in babylon has a catering hall. It's a nice catering hall and less expensive. My friend had a party there and was happy with it.
We ended up @ Blue Lagoon in West Babylon. Good Food, had the whole bar & restaurant for the entire party. It was $25 pp & $7 unlimited beer, wine & liquor. We were very happy & didn't break the bank for it.
Good Luck! I drove myself crazy looking at places
also, Fanelli's in Lindenhurst has a really nice hall. They prices were good too! Worth checking out.

Re: Restaurant for a Christening party in Babylon
I used the carriage house for my wedding rehearsal dinner. Loved it but was $$$. For DS baptism, I used the hibernian hall (aoh) and found it very reasonable and we were very happy with it. Let me know if you have any questions about them.

Re: Restaurant for a Christening party in Babylon
I had my son's Christening party at the Carriage House. They have a really nice private room upstairs and did a great job with everything. I looked into the Argyle but they could accommodate the time that I needed.
