Restaurant for Christening near E. Northport
Anyone have any recommendations for a restaurant or catering hall to host my daughter's christenting? We are looking to invite about 100 people.
TIA!!

Thatched Cottage Larkfield Manor
We didn't have that many people so I'm unsure of what restaurants would be able to accommodate outside of a hall. I know the place by Crab Meadow golf course used to cater.

Tutto Pazzo in Hungtington (it is across the street from Prime Steakhouse (the old Coco's).
My co-worker had his sons chrisitening there a couple of months ago and he also lives in East Northport.

I had my baby shower at Tutto Pazzo-it was really nice. Orlando's in Commack does a nice job and are very reasonable

I had Joseph's Christening at Tutto Pazzo but can it accommodate 100 people?
I know it was one of the only restaurants to be able to work with my church's time.

We had our son's Christening at Orlando's and it can't accommodate 100. It was great though.
Nocello's? Can they fit 100 there?

What about Greek Village in Commack on Jericho? They have a huge back room.
Cafe Havana in Smithtown on Jericho has a huge room downstairs, I would also call there and see if they are doing private parties yet. Food is delish and the owner is a doll.

I'm not sure if Nocello's can fit 100 - worth a call. The brunch for my daughter's christening was a hit.
Bonwit Inn is another choice.......

I was thinking Nocello's as well. It may fit 100 people if they shut the restaurant just to your party. Worth a call. When my mom passed away, they opened the restaurant (they're usually closed on Mondays i think) just for us. They are very nice there!
Bonwitt, not sure if you like a diner, but, we have had many parties at Paradise Diner in Hauppague...they have a whole back room.

Thanks so much for all of the responses. I think timing is going to be tough, my church does christenings at 2pm on Sundays.
I will make some calls.

Forget Nocello's. The owner has the place up for sale - although he denies it whenever anyone asks. But I KNOW it could close any minute, so I wouldn't risk it. Check with the Town of Huntington Planning Board or Zoning Board and they will tell you all about the application from 7-11 to tear the place down.
The country club at the Crab Meadow Golf Course to the best of my knowledge is still doing catering.
