Restaurant in Huntington
Can anyone rec a good one? Even near Huntington is fine. I'm meeting a friend and we don't know what's out there! We tried Besito and loved it, but it was a little pricey! TIA!

I'm always hearing about Prime. It's supposed to have a great atmosphere and crowd. Not sure about the $ but the people I know who go there are pretty conservative with money.

I'm pretty sure Prime is suuuppper expensive, I wouldn't go there. Oaxaca is not too expensive really good, real Mexican across the street from Besito.

Restaurant Joanina?
If so, we love that place. Excellent food. We frequently do family gatherings there (even held Easter dinner there this year ) and we LOVE their margherita pizza (it's addicting). We do takeout regularly.

Re: Restaurant in Huntington
My other suggestions would be:
Old Fields in Greenlawn (Great burgers and Mac & Cheese )
Ruvo in Greenlawn
Munday's (Huntington) if you want a very casual/diner food.
FH Riley's (Huntington)
Canterbury Ales (Huntington) if you're looking for pub style with a little more charm than a hole in the wall pub.
I've never been, but Sapsuckers (Huntington) gets good reviews.

Black and blue for the win!
We used to go there often, but the last couple of times we were there, we were beyond disappointed. (It felt like something changed drastically. I'm not sure if it was the chef, the management or both.) The final time we went, we had ants climbing all over our dining table and they completely fubared up our order. And if I recall, our server wasn't very pleasant to us. Needless to say, we haven't returned. I wonder if things have changed since?

Yes! Love it here - they have one in Montauk too! DS's friend's dad is the chef. Nicest people. They can sometimes squeeze in two without a reservation. But if there is a show at the paramount...less likely.
FH Riley's is also very good. It's owned by Opie (from Opie and Anthony)'s brother.
I also love Buenos Aires. You can order a few tapas between the two of you and have great variety.
