Restaurant on LI for our anniversary **updated with a restaurant question**
Looking for restaurant suggestions on LI/Queens for our anniversary.
Not necessarily looking for a steak house but a place that does have steak and seafood. Do not want Italian.
Eta: has anyone been to Thom Thom in Wantagh?

I love Hudson's Mill (steaks, pasta, seafood etc.)and Salumi (tapas) in Massapaequa. Also Vero in Amityville.

The food is pretty good but it can be loud and noisy. I don't consider it a romantic restaurant for an anniversary but more of a hang out/meet up with friends type place. If it's convenient though, I wouldn't rule it out.

Thanks. We're not really the romantic type...lol. But we will be kid free so I don't mind loud and noisy adults.

I think there are better options out there.
Especially if you are having a rare kid-free night.
This is a place I've been to multiple times with the kids.
And I don't think the food is all that different or unique.
JMO.

I've been to Thom Thom. The food is pretty good. I went there for my 30th bday and it was nice. I would also recommend Rare 650.
