Restaurant or Small Catering Hall in Queens

Can anyone recommend a nice place in Queens?

Approx 30 people for a Sunday afternoon.

Anywhere in queens is fine as long as it's easy to park or has a valet.

A continental menu is preferred.

It can be a restaurant with a private room or a catering hall that can accommodate smaller parties.

Thanks!!

DH Grandmother just had her 85th at Stellas in Floral Park. I think she had 40 ppl but the room is perfect for 30 or less. The menu is Italian but OMG their Stella salad is my fave.

Carosello in Howard Beach, they have a private room for 30 people. I used them for my rehearsal dinner. You pick the package for a sit down dinner with or without alcohol.

We just had DS's 1st birthday at Vetro. We really liked it. Also, Barosa is a nice place.

I always forget about that Joe Abracimentto's place. I have heard such good things about it but have never been there.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!

Donovan's off Bell Blvd? I'm thinking about having our Chat Icon christening there. They have a lot across the street and the municipal lot is right down the block as well.

Monahan and Fitzgerald? Same block. I've attended a few events there...including my rehearsal dinner.

We had a small party and they closed off a section of the restaurant.

I called Vetro for a bridal shower for 45 people on a Saturday afternoon and they said they start at $80 pp. More than we could pay. But it sounded like a 5 hr affair w/ cocktail hr and everything.

Luigi's on Union Turnpike has a nice back room for parties and their food is excellent.

I had Aiden's Christening at Punta Dura Restaurant in Astoria -- the food was delish and plentiful.

I also like Giardino's in Douglaston or Piccola Venezia in Astoria for parties.
