Restaurant Rave in Islip!
DH and I were looking for a restaurant to go to for restaurant week and decided to try the new restaurant Brookwoods on Sunrise Highway in East Islip (it used to be Tuscany). We LOVED it! We had Butternut Squash Soup for the first time and I would have licked the bowl if I was at home! We both had skirt steak which was delicious. The owner was so nice and the staff was great! They open for regular hours next week. We really liked it!

The atmosphere was romantic. Lights dimmed, candles lit. It was a bit pricey, probably comparable to your average steakhouse or nicer restaurant though.
