I know if you're going to Dublin, italian food is not the first thing on your mind, lol, but we stumbled on this place and had an amazing meal: Dunne & Crescenzi
In Dingle, we ate at a pub but I don't remember the name. It was on the street, facing the Bay. I know I had stew and it was awesome and I believe my sister-in-law had shepherd's pie and she loved it.
In Galway, we went in to a restaurant that was a former church so there was beautiful stained glass. It was in the main shopping area, and again I don't remember the name, but there are a ton of restaurants there.

I was just in Dingle. Again not exactly what you would think of in Ireland, but the Beast pizza truck beside **** Mack’s pub was actually good, and my kids liked it as a break from Irish food. We stayed 10 minutes outside Dingle in a tiny town called Ballydavid, and they had a great pub right on the water. The weather was nice and dc could play on the beach while we sat at picnic tables and drank/ate. Also, be sure to have Murphy’s ice cream in Dingle. There is a cute playground by the water. And be sure to take the boat ride to see Funghi the dolphin.
