restaurant recommendations western suffolk area
Hello,
My DH and I rarely get out alone, and our 17 year anniversary is coming up. Anyone have a good restaurant recommendation in the area south shore suffolk, from around the sayville area to massapequa area? I find some nice places online but they all look like the tables are so close together. Wanted something a little more quiet with some personal space LOL. We were thinking Italian or Steak/seafood TIA

The Snapper Inn in Sayville is really nice and it is on the water too. Pretty views.

Bellisimo is Amityville might meet what you are looking for.
I've gone in there a few times and it's very quiet and the wait staff is super attentive.
It's not my favorite Italian place here on LI, but the atmosphere is nice.
If you are willing to go a little more West, Cara Mia in Seaford has excellent Italian IMO.
