Restaurant rec's needed!
Dh and I are going on a date this week! WOOHOO It is our 14 year anniversary (from when we started dating) and we have a sitter for a couple of hours. We want to go to a nice dinner somewhere in smithtown/st.james area. Not extremely pricey, but nicer than your standard applebees type place. Any suggestions?
I am so excited, we haven't been out to dinner alone since our wedding anniversary in April!

We did Mirabelle in April. It was terrific! Just thinking of trying something else. I heard Oscar's was great. Maybe we will go there!

Union Square by the train station is very good! So is Vintage but it's $$$$$.

DH and I absolutely love this place...it is small, intimate and romantic....and the food is fabulous!!! we used to go there for all our special occassions when we lived in Nesconset. Everyone is so nice and treat you just like family.

I like your style vmac! I love Mirabelle. I usually go for their $25 lunch. Oscar's should be opening up a tapas restaurant soon. It's called Tapastrie and it will be located on 347 (where it intersects with rt 25). H2O is the home of my favorite drink--Georgia Peach martini!

Here is a link to Oscar's. Check out their 411 menu. It's for 4 courses, 1 bottle of wine, for under 100 dollars (for two).

oooh! I love Tapas! I will have to look out for that restaurant! :)
I go with my manager for the lunch too, it's so inexpensive and lovely!!
