Restaurant suggestion needed (somewhere between Miller Place and Levittown)
DH and I have to go out to Miller Place tomorrow for a wake and since we already have a sitter we are going to take full advantage and go for an early dinner. We were thinking Port Jeff since its not really out of the way. Any suggestions? Nothing too expensive and not too far of our course. Thanks in advance

Amici's in Mt. Sinai is great. Right by Miller Place.

I recommend www.sanmarcoristorante.com in hauppaugue. It's a good midway point between Levittown and Miller Place. Was pretty impressed by it, and the prices were reasonable.

carnival in Port Jeff Station (on 347)
Or you could go to colesseo for the best pizza on long island and then just walk around down Port Jeff for ice cream

Pasta Pasta in PJ is nice because you can walk to the water afterwards.
