Restaurant Suggestions Near JFK
Hi! My uncle and cousin are coming into JFK today and have a long layover before another flight out tonight. I'm going to pick them up and we'll go out to dinner. Any restaurant suggestions near JFK? I really don't want to start traveling too far away from the airport.
Any recommendations along Crossbay for example?

T - my brother suggested Don Peppe's - was raving about it! But due to the no credit card thing - I didn't want to go there because I didn't know how much cash my uncle had on him and didn't want him to use it all up since they were traveling.
We ended up going to Mother Kelly's in Cedarhurst - yummy!!

If there is a next time.... I suggest the Bay House. Total dive looking... but they have the most amazing fried calamari and hamburgers ever.

Mother Kelly's is great
I would say DP is usallly 60-75pp .. its family style.. if that helps..
DEF try it.. Excellent..

La Villa would be a much better choice for a small group. Don Pepe is better for a family style meal.

As a former five towner, I can say Mother Kelly's is one of the only things I miss about the area. I make it a point to go there whenever we are even remotely close to Cedarhurst.
