Restaurants for christening (Nassau/Queens)
So I need to start looking into restaurants and I have no clue where to start. I am still deciding on the church...but it may be my family church in glen cove. I am looking for something in Nassau but preferably near glen cove or at least western nassau to the border of queens or even queens. I will have people coming from westchester and the city so I don't want it further east than glen cove.
I am thinking more of a brunch type thing to keep cost down....or even lunch. We don't have a HUGE budget for this so any suggestions for $25 or under....even buffet type places that don't go by person and more by the food that is ordered. (I was able to find a place like that for my rehearsal dinner)

Not sure about Glen Cove area but there is Davenport Press in Mineola and Heart of Portugal both around $28. Crabtrees in Floral Park. I mostly know places in the RVC area in that price range but not sure if that is what you want to do.

I did my sister's shower at Willy Parkers in Williston Park- I told them my budget of $25 pp and they made it work- food and service was amazing and I highly recommend
eta- if you open to Queens, Sly Fox Inn has a very reasonable brunch- I think $15pp
there is also St. James in Mineola- but they dont have a private room- their lunch packages were starting at around $15-$17pp

Try Page One Restaurant on School Street. I believe they have a package in the $25 range (not sure what it includes)
Also Soundview Cafe at the Glen Cove Golf Course
And Mill Creek Tavern in Bayville has a package in that range too

Jack Duggans in floral park had a few functions there and always did a brunch. Awesome food and great people to work with I believe it starts at 23.99 per person kids 3 to 12 are half price and under 3 free

I just called and looked at the site! Love the room and their 3 hour party price is really great! Thank you for the recommendation!

My baby shower was at page one. I know it was closer to $30pp when I asked my mom.
