Re: Restaurants in Montauk?
Harvest for a nice dinner but The Dock for really casual. My family likes Gossman's for seafood (I'm vegetarian).

Re: Restaurants in Montauk?
Definitely the Harvest. There is also a place that was opened last summer on Fort Pond (I think) by local fishermen. Anyone in town should know the name of this place, it is definitely worth a try.

Re: Restaurants in Montauk?
The Harvest is closed due to some cess pool problems they had. They are repairing it but don't have a definite opening date.
It's my favorite tho. We were so disappointed last weekend when we couldn't go.
John's Pancake House for breakfast.
The Dock for casual.
Gurney's Sea Grill is great too.

I want crepes now........no joke we used to drive there & sleep at the docks just to get crepes. On a whim, or a craving...I must go now

Re: Restaurants in Montauk?
Manucci's is GREAT (it's on the way to Gosman's-- it's Italian)
The Harvest
East by Northeast (same owners as Harvest)
Gosman's
Gurney's
We go there every year and have time share at Gurney's lol so I know the area well.

Re: Restaurants in Montauk?
Well i can definitely answer this question since i grew up in montauk!
-Gosmans is good for seafood (lobster) and great for the view (you can see all the boats entering the harbor). My husband loves their crab cakes. -East by Northeast has an asian twist to it, but is quite expensive, especially if you're going with a number of girls. (but its VERY good). -The Dock (which is located by Gosmans) is great for nachos, mussels and burgers and you can't beat the price. -Not a fan of Crows Nest (sorry ladies). -Oyster Pond is okay, but not my favorite (although i recommend going there for the bar later in the night-around 10 or 11pm).
Let me know if you have any other questions! happy to help!
