Restaurants in/near Theater district
In 2 weeks we are going to see a show on W 47th St.
Where is a good place to eat afterwards? Not too fancy or expensive.
ed: thanks for the replies already!
I should add that DH will not eat anything remotely ethnic. No Asian foods, no French, no Spanish.

What kind of food do you like? There are a ton of options in the area.
My favs:
Maria Pia or Cara Mia - Italian
Wondee Siam - Thai
5 Napkin Burger - Burgers and lots of other stuff
West Bank Cafe - American Comfort Food
Joe Allen - American
Arriba Arriba - Mexican

Emmet o'Lunney's on 50th and 7th. It's an Irish Bar type place with a solid American/Irish menu. The bar is great too.
You can get anything there from Burgers to Pasta to fish.
The prices are very reasonable too.

no ideas but go to citysearch.com and for location put theatre district NYC and you should find some place that fits
