Hi, i want to go to dinner with DH but nothing too expensive, but really good food any suggestions

have you gone to Picalos on sunrise highway in the king kullen shopping center. Great food and not expensive. It is italian food

My fave locally is Hemingway's in Wantagh. On Wantagh Ave a few blocks north of Sunrise.

Phils on Hicksville Road (107) in Seaford / N. Massapequa, just north of
Jerusalem. Best Vodka sauce on the Island. HUGE portions....

They just built the NEW East Bay Diner on Merrick Rd, in Wantagh- huge portions, great food, the place is always busy, and the inside has some interesting decor. ( The lamps look like Jelly fish.....)

Piccolo's. Was there last Friday night. The garlic bread, WOW, i was tasting that garlic the rest of the weekend, lol. Good place. Had my rehearsal dinner there.

Pizzello's (or something like that it used to be roasty's on Merrick road in Merrick. It's really tall... It is diner food but good)
