Nick DiAngelo annoys me ( ok my DH) with the wait

It's been years since I've been there for dinner, but when DH lived there, our favorite place to eat was Duke Falcons, sort of across the street from Waldbaums. If its still there, its small and the food is fantastic, just call ahead and make a reservation!

I was just going to suggest Fisherman's Catch. I have been there a few times, once for our rehearsal dinner. Love it there!! And I am not even a seafood person. Our guests looooved it!! You can't beat the setting either.
If we ever have another party, it is one of my top choices.

I have been to Fisherman's Catch a few times, I always thought it was great, as did everyone we have ever gone with. It has nice views too!

Fishermans Catch in Pt. Lookout is great! Love the food and atmosphere there. There is also a cutelittle restaurant called the Lazy Pelican- also great food!!!

Re: Resturant Help- In Long Beach

Jimmy Hays is good but pretty expensive from what I remember. Fisherman's Catch is awesome and has much more atmosphere than any of the West End places. Plus you can walk over to the Buoy Bar for a drink.

Nagahama is always fun for sushi. There's a new funky Thai place that just opened up a few months ago called Bua. Or if you don't want to do a huge meal, we LOVE the crepe place. I think it's called Fresco. Okay now I'm hungry.

Re: Resturant Help- In Long Beach

If you want to go all out - I would def go to Jimmy Hays.

Other than that, I would go to Duke Falcons. Food is soooo good. I thought Fisherman's Catch was ok.
Kawasaki is my favorite for Japanese/Hibachi.
