Resturants/Bars/Things to do in Ft Lauderdale in April?

I'm so excited - two of my friends and I are going to Ft Lauderdale in April. (we're leaving the day after Easter and wil be there all week). Any suggestions for places to eat and things to do?

There are a lot of nice shops and restaraunts at Beach Place. it's a fun place to hang out. There's a place called Howl at the Moon or something that's supposed to be good. Check out the Sawgrass mall if you have time!

We stayed a few times at the Hyatt Pier 66 before our cruises for 1-2 nights and one time after our cruise. We had several nice meals at their Grill 66 and bar - which is at the hotel but on the boat marina right on the intercoastal waterway. There is a water taxi stop right there. It was nice to sit outside (if weather permits) and watch all the boats go by. The food was really good too, but expensive. They used to have a prix fixed meal which was really good.

Also the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood is only a short taxi drive from the cruise pier (just to give you an idea of location). They have a really nice entertainment complex - attached to the hotel with shopping, restaurants (we ate at Tatu was really good and fun place when we stayed there after a cruise), then there are dance clubs, comedy clubs, bars, and if I remember correctly a dueling piano bar.
