Resume help please! I have an interview TOMORROW!!

I come from an academic background, so I have a CV, not a resume. I'm interviewing at a science magazine, and they want a resume. What should go into a resume? Below are the sections I have for my CV. Which ones should stay and which ones should go? Thanks!

Experience
Education
Professional Interests
Computer Skills
Publications
Departmental Activities (did a lot of committee planning in grad school)
Research Experience
Teaching Experience
Academic Awards and Funding
Society Memberships

Honestly I don't really know, because I don't know much about the field, but my gut says to take out what is least relevant to the position. What would you be doing there?

I would think you wouldn't need prof. interests, teaching/research experience (but these may also be able to be combined with general work history), departmental activities, and society memberships

So I will have this order?

Objective
Experience
Skills
Education
Publications

Does that sound right?

I would put education after objective. Objective is a little antiquated, but wouldn't be the worst if you kept it.
Education and experience are the most important so you want those to be the first 2 sections that are noticed.
Good luck!

I read online that you should do it in reverse chronological order. That is why I chose Education to be later.
