Resume question

I know it's early for me to think about my resume for next year but it's always in the back of my mind. I want to make sure I have a good resume so I can eventually (hopefully by next September) get into Public School.

So my question is do you have an objective and/or a profile on your resume? I've seen some resumes that just start with their education. What is the right thing to do? is there a correct way?

Thank you!!

Re: Resume question

I just redid mine - for an old coworker who wants me to go to her district.

I don't have an objective - but my first category is "teaching strengths" which acts as my obj (secondary subject though)

Since i have been in teaching for 10+ years, my experience comes first...then related experience...academic degrees...continuing education...skills/interests

Whatever you want to highlight should go first.
