Retrieval Day
I know you are out of it that day due to the IV and pain. But what about the next day? Did you go to work?

Re: Retrieval Day
I was still groggy the next day. My first IVF, I took the following day off, but the 2nd one, I did work, although I worked from home as I had some mild discomfort.

Re: Retrieval Day
I've always gone back to work the next day. The retrieval has never really affected me that much.

Re: Retrieval Day
Thank you for sharing. I think I will play it by ear and see how I feel. Maybe I will tell my boss that I may or may not be in the next day based on how I feel?
I know it might be smarter to go in that day even if I feel a little bad because the more important time to rest is after the transfer.

Re: Retrieval Day
If I had retrieval in the morning, I had no problem going to work the next day. I had one retrieval scheduled for 2pm but by the time they did it, it was closer to 3:30 so I didn't go to work the next day.
