Return Bedding
About a week ago I purchased a new comforter set and I don't like it. Can I return it being that I've slept on it? I still have all of the original packaging. Do I wash it first? I feel weird bc I slept on it but it's not a comfortable as I had hoped it would be.

Re: Return Bedding
I would not return it as new. That's for sure!
I would say the quality is not there. It's defective, etc..
I can't imagine you not saying that you slept in it, return it as new and I would buy it. KWIM!

Re: Return Bedding
Depends where you bought it... My mom just got all new bedding and had an expensive coverlet from Bloomies and she hated how it felt-- they took it back. I think most dept stores will do this if you are unhappy with it.

Re: Return Bedding
I would not just return it without saying anything....reminds me of a post on LIW with a girl wearing a dress and returning it but I would tell them (like a previous poster said) that the quality was not there or something to that effect.
I had a Pottery Barn Quilt and Pillows set that I kept for about 2 months. It smelt a bit musty when I first got it so I washed it, aired it out, sprayed it down...everything and it just had an odor to it. I called Pottery Barn and they took it back, no problem. They did give me a credit and not a refund but still, I really appreciated it. Good Luck!!!!
