reviews of doctors
does anyone know where i can find doctor reviews? i've been searching around the internet & not really finding what i'm looking for. i'm in NJ (don't know if that matters).
i really don't like just picking a name out of the insurance book and making an appointment. if i don't have a recommendation from someone, then i'd like to have some knowledge of the doctor before seeing him/her.
any ideas?

Check the website for the State of NJ. I know you can look up doctors on the NY site

I usually go to www.healthgrades.com it doesn't give you reviews of drs but it provides you with a little more information than what you get in your insurance book. It will tell you where they went to medical school, how long they are in practice, their specialties, what hospitals they are affiliated with, etc.

Check out njdoctorlist.com or nydoctorprofile.com. I like to look for doctors who are board certified in their field, educated at an American medical school and have no malpractice judgments against them. All this info is on these websites.
