Ribbon Cutting for new Child Safety Seat Fitting Station

On August 3rd at 11:30am there will be a formal "Ribbon Cutting" for a new Child Safety Seat Fitting Station in Hicksville. Run by the Nassau County Traffic Safety, this new location represents a bigger, cleaner location dedicated to assisting parents in the proper installation of their child safety seats.

Traffic Safety has assisted in the installation of more seats then all the fitting stations on Long Island combined and is now asking for your help. This opening will be a media event and we need parents with children there to have their seats checked.

Where is the new location in Hicksville?

Are you going to keep the one in Mineola or is that one closed?

The one in Mineola has been closed, due to roof leaks and other building problems the location did not provide the ideal setting.

The new location is 170 Cantiague Rock Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. This new location was made specifically for this program, new walls, paint, space and signs.
