Right now I could spit nails!!! sorry, long..

Way back in October, I went to Ebay and saw a site where you could have the baby's name painted on letters which coordinated with his/her bedding.

I reached out to this person and ordered (unfortunately also paid up front) for my letters.

FOUR MONTHS LATER, I get an email from her that says that she has had to close her business and that she'll send the letters "eventually". She sent me pictures of the finalized letters last week and said that she was going to be mailing them soon. Now that ain't gonna happen.

I want to kill this woman. She sent a pitiful letter about how she lost her apartment, almost was on the street with her kid, and has had to move in with her parents. She also says that if you are going to report her to Ebay, to basically do what you have to do.

I am not a cold heartless beyotch, but at the end of the day business is business, and she took my money.

In the spirit of motherhood, I even offered to pay for the package if she sent it COD, and have yet to hear back from her. All I wanted was those letters for my son's room and now I feel so cheated and lied to.

DH doesn't want to pursue any legal action, and I know it's only $75 that we're out, but that't not the point.To tell you the truth, if she has no money, then what can I do, but again, it's not the point.

I'm pizzed and haven't taken any pictures of the baby's room awaiting those letters, and now probably will never see them.

I know it's just "letters", but again that's not the point. It was a business transaction, and my money was basically stolen from me.

Am I overreacting..you can tell me the truth.

You are def NOT overreacting! I would be BEYOND annoyed! Not only did she take your money, but she got your hopes up for something to come and you never received it. I don't understand why she won't ship them if they are already done?? Especially if you were nice enough to pay AGAIN for shipping. When is she going to send them, when the baby is 20?? Legal action won't really help...especially since she has no money. And your time and energy put into that is not worth the $75.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. Try to think of the positive and how it's better to be you than her!!

if u paid with paypal you can start a claim with them and get your $75 back...i had to do it befor and that was for $12!!!

if u paid with paypal or any credit card u can report it, u have every right to b pi$$ED i would def. report her to ebay AND id fight for the money..she sounds like she is bs'ing u to be honest and i dont care if its 5 bucks or 75 bucks, its ur $$!!

I agree....I would definaley file a claim with paypal or ebay to get your money back. Business is business, its not personal. Also, its not like you are reporting her to the police to be arrested or something. You paid her and she kept your money, thats not right.

Did you pay with paypal? If so, you can file a claim and they will give your money back even if she claims to have none.

Yes, I did pay with paypal. I am so glad I posted this, I didn't even know that I could file a claim with them.

BTW...her name is Kalee Prue and she her business name is lennonnaturals. I hope no one else got burned like I did!!

Definitely file a claim...I had to do that once and got my $ back. That really s*cks...I would be beyond p*ssed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
